There are generally two ways to get a mortgage in Canada: From a bank or from a licensed mortgage professional like Christopher Rooke, CPA, CMA.

While a bank is limited to offering the products from their own particular institution, I have access to more than 120 lending institutions, including private financing.  This allows me to offer clients more choice, both in mortgage products but also in the underlying terms and conditions.

My background includes growing up in Etobicoke and then moving to London where I went to Western University and obtained my BA in Admin & Commercial Studies (Finance).  London was very good to me as it was also where I met my wife Jacqueline .  We raised two beautiful daughters in Oakville where we have been residents for more than 25 years.  I earned my accounting designation while raising that young family and I have since followed a path of continuous education to improve my financial literacy.  An occupation in accounting requires you to demonstrate trust, integrity and have a solid work ethic.  After enjoying a successful career helping to budget and guide companies through many economic challenges, I am now focused on applying my knowledge and skills for the benefit of my clients. 

As a fully licenced mortgage agent, I have access to the resources and benefits of working with Dominion Lending Centres at the national level, Forest City Funding at the provincial level and The Westlake Team at the local level.
